MEA's ACTS is an Air Conditioner Testing System
for the assembly line.
This is a compact and fast responding system; its incorporation in a production
line does not compromise throughput. The system has a low maintenance cost,
and provides an effective solution for air conditioner testing in high
volume production lines.
The ACTS detects the following in seconds:
• Air noise resulting from
changes in air flow speed and longitudinal pressure waves
• Vibration defects
• Motor and blower torque-speed
characteristics
• Air conditioner torque and speed
variations (as an integral unit)
• Motor-blower coupling quality
• The curvature of even a slightly deformed blower
MEA's
ACTS compares the test results to programmable pass/fail limits and
determines acceptability. The results are stored in a format easily
importable into most spreadsheet and database software.
